Two days to the start of Wimbledon. Who will Sinner, Alcaraz and Swiatek play against?

Very soon, on July 1st, one of the biggest tennis tournaments of the season, Wimbledon 2024, will commence. This will mark the 137th edition of the legendary tournament.

Today, the draw for the first round of Wimbledon took place, revealing the opponents for all the top favorites.

World number one Jannik Sinner will begin his Wimbledon 2024 campaign against German tennis player Yannick Hanfmann (ATP No. 95). The third-ranked player in the world, Carlos Alcaraz, will face Estonian Mark Lajal (ATP No. 265), who made it through the qualifiers.

World number two Novak Djokovic, who was at risk of missing Wimbledon due to an injury, will start his tournament against Czech player Vit Kopriva (ATP No. 123). Legendary Briton Andy Murray will face Czech tennis player Tomas Machac (ATP No. 38).

In the women's singles draw, world number one Iga Swiatek faces a challenging match in the first round against American Sofia Kenin (WTA No. 48).

World number two Coco Gauff will play against fellow American Caroline Dolehide (WTA No. 52) in the first round. Third-ranked Aryna Sabalenka will compete against American Emina Bektas (WTA No. 104).
