'There is time to discuss my future'. Amorim has talked about a possible departure from Sporting

Sporting Lisbon head coach Ruben Amorim is increasingly appearing on the front pages of the media, which link him with one club or another. Previously, the specialist denied in every possible way leaving the Lisbon team, but now he is not so categorical:

"I can't say, as Xabi Alonso [referring to Alonso's words about staying at Bayer - note]. I can't guarantee that I will stay at Sporting for next season. We have time to discuss my future, when the time comes we will do that. But for now, the focus is on winning titles and then we'll see what happens," Amorim was quoted by Fabrizio Romano's Twitter.

Liverpool are believed to be the main contenders to sign Amorim after Alonso's refusal to leave Bayer, and earlier we reported how much Sporting could demand for their mentor.
