Midfielder Jordan Henderson achieved a remarkable feat in the English Premier League. In the sixth-round match against Bournemouth, the 36-year-old scored twice and provided an assist, helping his team to a resounding 5-1 victory.

According to Opta, Henderson became the oldest player in Chelsea history to be directly involved in at least three goals in a single Premier League match. He was 36 years and 115 days old at the time.

What is more, no player in the league had achieved such a feat at that age since Cristiano Ronaldo. In April 2022, at the age of 37, the Portuguese recorded three goal involvements in a match against Norwich.

In addition to Henderson's brace, João Pedro scored twice for the winners, while Rogers also found the net. Bournemouth could muster only one reply, scored by Evanilson.
