The winners of the ATP and WTA tournaments in Eastbourne have been determined

The last grass tennis tournament with the participation of top tennis players on the eve of Wimbledon ended in Eastbourne. Recall that the prestigious tournament in Great Britain will begin on Monday, 1 July.

In the women's net, Daria Kasatkina celebrated victory. 27-year-old tennis player, who performs under a neutral status, defeated Leila Fernandez from Canada in the final in two sets - 6:3, 6:4. It should be noted that Daria was No. 6 at this tournament.

For men, Taylor Fritz won the tournament for the third time in history. The 26-year-old American defeated Australian Max Purcell in just 71 minutes - 6:4, 6:3. It should be noted that Fritz became the first in history to win the tournament in Eastbourne three times.

Kasatkina is scheduled to play Shuai Zhang in the first round of Wimbledon on 1 July. Fritz will start the tournament one day later against Australia's Christopher O'Connell.
