The legend of German football, Miroslav Klose, has finally found a club to continue his coaching career.
Today, Klose officially became the head coach of Nuremberg, which competes in the 2. Bundesliga. Klose signed a contract with Nürnberg until the summer of 2026.
Klose is the top scorer in the history of the FIFA World Cup, with 16 goals, one more than Brazil's Ronaldo.
Nürnberg is the second club in Klose's coaching career. Previously, he had a less successful stint at Austrian side Rheindorf Altach and also served as an assistant to Hansi Flick at Bayern Munich.
At the club level, Klose played for Bayern Munich, Werder Bremen, Lazio, and Kaiserslautern.
Last season, Nürnberg finished in 12th place in the 2. Bundesliga.
