The Stallions are now in Buenos Aires ahead of their friendly against Argentina
The international friendly between Burkina Faso and the Albiceleste will go ahead on the night of Sunday 4 October, following several hours of uncertainty surrounding the Burkina Faso team’s journey.
The Burkina Faso delegation’s journey had been disrupted by the cancellation of their original flight, leaving the players and staff stranded in Morocco. However, the situation was eventually resolved and the squad were able to continue their journey to Argentina.
The Burkina Faso Football Federation announced that the Stallions arrived in Buenos Aires at 6.40 pm GMT on Saturday 3 October. The delegation immediately headed to their hotel to rest after their long journey.
The Stallions’ recovery programme includes a light warm-up, some rest and a video session focusing on final tactical adjustments. This is designed to ensure the players are in the best possible physical and mental condition for this fixture.
The international friendly between Burkina Faso and Argentina is scheduled for 12 am GMT on 4 October at the Estadio Monumental.
