According to Slot, there can be no winners in this situation, as every dispute ultimately harms the entire team.
Details: Ahead of the Champions League group stage matchday 6 clash between Inter Milan and Liverpool, set to kick off today, the Reds’ head coach, Dutchman Arne Slot, once again addressed the situation surrounding 33-year-old winger Mohamed Salah during a live appearance on Prime Video Sport:
"The situation with Salah is far from ideal. It’s not good for anyone.
Neither for the club, nor for the team, nor for him personally. It’s far from ideal. We reacted the way we did and decided not to bring him here. That’s why we responded to his comments in this manner."

Earlier, Slot told reporters that he could not answer whether Salah would play even one more match for Liverpool, after which it was revealed that the Egyptian was not included in the Reds’ squad for the match against Inter.
This season, Salah has played 19 matches, scoring 5 goals and providing 3 assists. His current contract with the club runs until the summer of 2027.
