A real drama is unfolding within the Liverpool family.
Details: Tomorrow, Liverpool will face Inter Milan away in the sixth round of the Champions League. However, the Reds’ 47-year-old head coach Arne Slot must also address the situation involving Salah, in addition to preparing for the crucial match.
During the pre-match press conference, one journalist asked Slot if it was possible that Salah had already played his last game for Liverpool. Slot’s response was far from definitive:
“I have no idea, I can’t answer that question!”
Previously, Salah had already stated that he might leave the club as early as the January transfer window, believing that Arne Slot’s attitude towards him is extremely undeserved.
Salah joined Liverpool in 2017 and has played 420 matches for the club, scoring 250 goals and providing 116 assists. However, this season has seen a clear downturn in the Egyptian’s form, prompting a wave of criticism, though Mohamed himself considers this unfair.
