The referees for the CAF Champions League final have been announced
A Congolese and a Somali referee have been appointed
This two-legged tie will see Mamelodi Sundowns take on AS FAR.
The first leg is scheduled for 17 May. Mamelodi Sundowns will host AS FAR in South Africa. For this match, the Confederation of African Football has appointed Jean Jacques Ndala Ngambo. The Congolese official, who refereed the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final between Senegal and Morocco, will be in charge of the match.
For the return leg scheduled for 24 May, a Somali referee has been appointed by CAF. He is Omar Artan. This second leg will be played at AS FAR’s ground in Morocco.
