Athletes around the world are preparing for the Olympic Games in Paris. In Eugene, USA, the Olympic trials in track and field were held, determining the composition of the U.S. team for the 2024 Paris Olympics in several disciplines.

In the 110-meter hurdles, three athletes broke the 13-second barrier, marking the best result in the history of this event.

The race was won by three-time world champion Grant Holloway, who posted a time of 12.86 seconds. This is the best time in the world this season and the fourth-best in history. Holloway's personal record is 12.81 seconds, which is the second-best time in history for this distance.

Freddie Crittenden and Daniel Roberts, who set personal records in this trial, will also compete in this event at the Olympics. Crittenden completed the distance in 12.93 seconds, while Roberts finished in 12.96 seconds.
