The official lineup for Al Ahly and Pachuca in the 2024 Intercontinental Cup semi-final

Al Ahly's official roster has been revealed by Swiss coach Marcel Koller ahead of their much awaited 2024 Intercontinental Cup semifinal matchup against Pachuca. The game is scheduled for this Saturday at 8:00 PM local time (7:00 PM Cairo time) at Stadium 974 in Doha, Qatar.The game will be broadcasted across the Middle East and North Africa on beIN Sports 2 and Al-Kass channels.

Al Ahly, the African champions, secured their spot in the semifinal after a dominant 3-0 victory over UAE’s Al Ain in the quarterfinals.On the other hand, Pachuca, the CONCACAF champions, also triumphed 3-0 against Brazil’s Botafogo.

The winner of tonight’s match will be crowned the “Challenge Cup” champion and will progress to face European champions Real Madrid in the final at Lusail Stadium on December 18.

Veteran goalie Mohamed El-Shenawy starts in goal, while full-backs Omar Kamal Abdel Wahed and Yahya Attiyat Allah form the central defense alongside Rami Rabia and Yasser Ibrahim. Koller's midfield is composed of Imam Ashour, Akram Tawfik, and Marwan Attiya, while the central striker, Wissam Abu Ali, is flanked by wingers Hussein El-Shahat and Tahr Mohamed Tahr.
