Egypt national team star Omar Marmoush joined Manchester City during the current winter transfers, coming from Eintracht Frankfurt for 75 million euro.
This transfer’s the most expensive among Egyptian transfers, after breaking the record of his compatriot Mohamed Salah, who joined the Reds for 42 million euros.
He also surpassed Morocco's Achraf Hakimi, whose deal with Paris Saint Germain exceeded 70 million euro.
Marmoush’s the ninth arab player to wear the Man City shirt after 5 Algerians represented by Djamel Belmadi, Djamel Abdoun, Ali Benarbia, Karim Kerkar and Riyad Mahrez.
In addition to Tunisian Hatem Trabelsi, Moroccan Ibrahim Diaz, and Qatari Hussein Yasser.
This season, the 25 year old Egyptian icon Omar Marmoush has been performing strongly with his former team, Eintracht Frankfurt, scoring 20 goals and making 14 assists in 26 matches.
