Goal machine back at it again! Erling Haaland becomes fastest player to reach 100 Premier League goals
Erling Haaland continues to rewrite the history books of English football.
Details: The Norwegian Manchester City striker has reached the milestone of 100 Premier League goals, accomplishing this feat faster than any player in history. Haaland netted his landmark goal during the Matchweek 14 clash against Fulham, opening the scoring in the 17th minute.
It took the striker just 111 games to hit the century mark, allowing him to break Alan Shearer's record—the legendary Englishman reached this milestone 13 matches later.
Haaland also remains the fastest player in Premier League history to reach other major scoring milestones:
- 20 goals — 14 matches
- 30 goals — 27 matches
- 40 goals — 39 matches
- 50 goals — 48 matches
- 100 goals — 111 matches
Notably, this was already the Norwegian’s twentieth goal for the Citizens this season across all competitions.
Reminder: Marc Cucurella revealed that before joining Chelsea, he was close to signing for Manchester City.
