The goal fest in yesterday's match truly tested the nerves of the Spanish tactician.

Details: Manchester City head coach, 54-year-old Pep Guardiola, was left with mixed emotions after his team’s dramatic clash with Fulham, where the Citizens nearly squandered a 5-1 lead.

In the end, City edged out a breathtaking 5-4 victory, and at the post-match press conference, Pep admitted that such games may be a spectacle for football fans, but not for his own nerves:

"I'm so old, and the players don't respect me! They shouldn't treat their coach this way. It only happens in this league. We played a fantastic match... Listen, there were a lot of positives in what we did."

To come here, score five goals, and play the way we did in the first half. In the end, it was all about character, resilience, and defending. They did what they had to do," Guardiola said.

During the post-match interview, a journalist asked Pep if he actually enjoys games like this. He fired back with a joke:

"Do I enjoy it? I've lost all my hair!" Pep quipped.

At the moment, Manchester City sit second in the Premier League standings with 28 points to their name.

Reminder: Manchester City matches a unique feat not seen since 1957
