The giants have started chasing a rising star. Arsenal preparing transfer bid for 21-year-old talent
Arsenal are preparing to join the race for Brighton midfielder Jack Hinshelwood. The 21-year-old Englishman has caught the eye of three top Premier League clubs—besides the Gunners, Manchester United and Manchester City are also considering a move for the youngster.
According to The Sun, Arsenal are already interested in signing Hinshelwood and could be readying an official offer. The midfielder is a product of the Seagulls' academy and has already made 79 Premier League appearances, scoring 12 goals and providing seven assists.
One of Hinshelwood’s main strengths is his versatility. He can operate in central midfield or on either flank in defense—a flexibility that Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta especially values.
Brighton have no intention of letting their homegrown star go easily. The club values the player at £43–51 million, and the competition between the interested parties could drive the transfer fee even higher. Meanwhile, the Red Devils have already enquired about Hinshelwood's availability and are preparing their own offer. The midfielder’s contract with Brighton runs until June 2029.
