Argentine forward Julián Álvarez has expressed his desire to leave Manchester City.

According to journalist Marcos Benito from El Chiringuito TV, the striker has asked the club to put him on the transfer list. He also wants the "Citizens" to set a reasonable price for him.

Additionally, at the end of last season, Álvarez declined to extend his contract with Manchester City on improved terms. His current contract is valid until the summer of 2028.

Julián has been with the "Citizens" since July 2022. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is 90 million euros. Last season, he scored 17 goals and provided 12 assists in 52 matches for the club.

Currently, he is with the Argentina national team, preparing for the Copa America 2024 final against Colombia.
