The Elephants arrive in Bouaké ahead of their clash against Ghana

Hervé Renard’s squad left Abidjan on 22 September to travel to their base in central Ivory Coast.

The Ivory Coast national team left the Ivorian capital a few hours ago. Whilst Franck Kessié and his team-mates began their camp in Abidjan on 20 September, they left on Tuesday to travel to Bouaké. It took them 40 minutes to reach their new base in Bouaké.

It is in this city in central Ivory Coast that the Elephants will host Ghana on the opening day of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers. But whilst awaiting the match scheduled for 24 September at the Stade de la Paix, the Ivorian team will prepare as they should.

Hervé Renard’s squad will continue their training sessions ahead of their opening match in the qualifying campaign. Before setting off for Bouaké this afternoon, the Elephants held a training session in Abidjan.
