After 909 days of anticipation, Barcelona finally returns to the Camp Nou.
Details: Today, the Catalan giants will host Athletic Bilbao at the Camp Nou in the 13th round of La Liga.
The Camp Nou had been closed for extensive renovations that began in 2023. Due to construction delays, the club was forced to play their home fixtures at the Olympic Stadium on Montjuïc. The project turned out to be more complicated than expected, resulting in setbacks and postponed reopening dates. But today, the Catalan side has finally been cleared to return to their legendary home ground.
The last time Barcelona played at their iconic home was back in March 2023, when they hosted Mallorca.
Today’s showdown with Athletic Bilbao is scheduled for 16:15 Central European Time.
