Thabiso Monyane on Kaizer Chiefs tittle approach: We do not know what is happening with other teams as our focus is solely on our performances

Kaizer Chiefs are not aware of what is happening in the PSL title race.

That Orlando Pirates are in the top spot followed by Mamelodi Sundowns and Sekhukhune United are third is something Amakhosi are oblivious to.

This was revealed by defender Thabiso Monyane as Chiefs held a Media Day at their base in Naturena, South of Johannesburg.

But we all know that Monyane knows exactly what is happening in the Betway Premiership title chase.

“We are running our own race as well. We are not solely focused on other teams,” Monyane told the media at the Chiefs media open day on Monday.

“As I said, from where we were last season to where we are now, it’s a massive improvement, and I’m very happy to be here. We are running our own race, like I said, we are not too focused on who’s doing what, that’s how it is.”

This evening they face Stellenbosch FC in the PSL match with the hope of collecting maximum points to keep up the pace with Pirates, Sundowns and Sekhukhune.

The match starts at 7.30pm.
