Manchester United's head coach, Erik ten Hag, shared his impressions following the victory in the match against Copenhagen (1-0).
“It's always getting complicated – I think it belongs to the DNA of Manchester United! It was a crazy game this, and a nervous game for us in the end but [the result] was justified. We created some chances, but we didn’t take them. Then it’s good that a defender is coming forward and scoring a brilliant goal, with a great assist from Christian Eriksen. I think we should have scored more, but also we could have conceded a goal. It's 1-0, I am happy with it because it is a clean sheet and we scored.", official UEFA website quotes Erik ten Hag.
It's worth noting that before the match against Copenhagen, Manchester United had yet to secure any points in the Champions League. The victory was secured by players who have faced relentless criticism. Harry Maguire netted the decisive goal, while Andre Onana saved a penalty in the final minutes.
