Siviwe Magidigidi leaves Betway Premiership side Siwelele FC for Belgian club K. Beerschot V. A. after the SA under-20 star impressed during trials
Siviwe Magidigidi has officially left Siwelele FC for Belgium club K. Beerschot V.A. in the Western Europe country’s first division.
The Under-20 international has been under assessment in Belgium for the past two weeks and his club management revealed the negotiations were a success.
This then paved a way for the pacey midfielder to leave South Africa.
“Siwelele Football Club is pleased to confirm the transfer of our exciting young forward Siviwe Magididigi to Belgian First Division B side K. Beerschot V.A. following the successful conclusion of negotiations between the two clubs,” Siwelele FC said in a statement.
“We are delighted to see Magididigi take the next step in his journey. Few players earn the chance to move to Europe at 20 years old, and we have every confidence that he will seize this opportunity and continue to develop his already impressive talent.
“He departs with our appreciation and respect.”
