Sinner vs Djokovic. The finalists of the Masters in Beijing have been determined


At the ongoing ATP 1000 tournament in Beijing, China, the men's semifinals concluded today, determining the finalists.
In the first semifinal, world number one Jannik Sinner from Italy faced Czech player Tomáš Macháč, ranked 33rd in the world.
Macháč put up a strong fight but couldn't secure a set. Sinner won the first set 6-4 and, despite a closer contest in the second, Macháč fell short, losing 7-5.
Sinner served 10 aces and committed just one double fault during the match. He also recorded 27 winners and 12 unforced errors.

The second semifinal featured former world number one Novak Djokovic, currently ranked fourth, against American Taylor Fritz, the world number seven.
Djokovic cruised through the first set, winning 6-4, but encountered more resistance in the second set. After the 11th game, Djokovic took a medical timeout due to a leg issue. Nevertheless, he secured the victory in a closely contested second set, winning 7-6 in a tiebreaker.

Novak Djokovic vs Taylor Fritz 6-4, 7-6
The final match between Jannik Sinner and Novak Djokovic is set for tomorrow, October 13. This will mark the eighth encounter between the two athletes. Djokovic has claimed victory in five of their previous meetings, while Sinner has triumphed three times, including in their last two matches, making this an intriguing showdown as the Italian is currently the world number one.
Notably, Djokovic is on the verge of a milestone. Should he emerge victorious tomorrow, it will mark his 100th career title, a remarkable achievement in the history of tennis.
