Details: In the 32nd minute, the Rojiblancos’ key defender David Hancko was forced to leave the pitch early. The incident occurred completely out of the blue—Hancko lost his footing in a harmless situation and immediately signaled to the bench that he couldn't continue.

Diego Simeone was forced into an emergency substitution, bringing Marc Pubill onto the pitch. Losing their star defender could spell major trouble for Atletico. Hancko left the field limping, unable to hide his disappointment.
