The Champions League quarterfinal marked the end of one of Barcelona's most remarkable club records.

Details: After a 0-2 defeat to Madrid's Atletico, the Catalans suffered their first home loss to Los Colchoneros in official matches since February 5, 2006. That distant La Liga encounter ended 1-3, and since then, the Blaugrana had remained invincible at Camp Nou against the Madrid side for two decades.

This defeat put a full stop to an incredible streak of 25 official consecutive home matches without a loss to Atletico.

For years, Camp Nou had been an impregnable fortress for Diego Simeone's men, but this time, Atletico's tactical flexibility and clinical finishing allowed them to finally break the long-standing curse.

Reminder: Atletico defender Marc Pubill deliberately stopped the ball with his hand after a pass from the goalkeeper, but the referee ignored the incident.
