Details: According to authorized Atlético Madrid sources cited by Marca, the Spanish club have delivered an extremely tough response amid Barcelona's continued pursuit of Julián Álvarez. The Madrid side insist there is a 0% chance of selling the Argentine striker to Barça and stress that their position is no longer connected to the size of a potential transfer fee.
Atlético claim Barcelona's actions around the transfer saga have harmed the club economically and socially. The Madrid hierarchy described the issue as one of dignity rather than money and accused those involved in the situation of creating a campaign built around numerous lies and half-truths.
