Samson Adamu Reportedly Appointed Permanent CAF General Secretary
Football news
Nigerian football administrator Samson Adamu has reportedly been appointed as the permanent General Secretary of the Confederation of African Football (CAF).
Adamu had earlier been appointed the acting secretary general of the Confederation of African Football after he replaced Veron Mosengo-Omba of the Democratic Republic of Congo.
African football journalist Micky Jnr broke the news on X, stating that Adamu would move from his role as acting general secretary to take up the position on a permanent basis.
However, CAF had not officially confirmed the reported appointment at the time of writing. The development, therefore, remains unconfirmed pending an announcement from the continental football governing body.
