In the third round of Euro 2024 Group D matches, Poland and France played to a 1:1 draw. Kylian Mbappe scored from the penalty spot for France, while Robert Lewandowski equalized with a penalty of his own for Poland.

Interestingly, Robert Lewandowski has now scored in his fourth European Championship. The forward previously scored in the 2012, 2016, and 2020 tournaments.

This achievement puts Lewandowski on par with Cristiano Ronaldo and Luka Modrić, who have also scored in at least four Euros.

Poland finished in fourth place in Group D with just one point. The Poles had lost their chances of advancing past the group stage after the second round.

Previously, the star forward of Barcelona addressed whether he would retire from the Polish national team after Euro 2024.
