Real Madrid TV did not take the club's first LaLiga defeat of the season quietly.

Details: Following Real Madrid's 1-0 away defeat to Real Betis, the club's official television channel once again turned its attention to the Negreira controversy. During its reaction to the result, Real Madrid TV delivered a striking message: “One more year in Negreira’s league.”

The comment was another reference to the long-running Negreira case involving Barcelona and former Spanish refereeing official José María Enríquez Negreira. Real Madrid TV has repeatedly used the case when criticizing refereeing and the organization of LaLiga.

This time the reaction came after a dramatic night at La Cartuja. Troy Parrott scored the only goal for Betis in the 81st minute, while Real Madrid were handed a huge opportunity to equalize deep into stoppage time. Kylian Mbappé stepped up from the penalty spot, but Álvaro Valles saved his attempt and secured all three points for the hosts.

It is worth noting that the defeat ended Real Madrid's perfect start to the new LaLiga campaign. José Mourinho's side had won their opening three league matches and scored 10 goals before travelling to Seville. After four rounds, Real Madrid and Real Betis both have nine points.
