Richards Bay FC coach Papi Zothwane on Orlando Pirates penalty: It's unfortunate we conceded it at the time we were launching our comeback in the game
Papi Zothwane has chosen an objective comment on the merits of the penalty Orlando Pirates scored from in their 2-0 win against Zothwane’s Richards Bay last night.
Pirates midfielder Tshepang Moremi was tackled inside the box in the final minutes of this Betway Premiership match and the Sea Robbers were awarded the spot-kick.
It has been felt that it was a soft tackle for it to be awarded as a penalty.
Pirates won via a Oswin Appollis goal and the Evidence Makgopa goal from the spot-kick.
"Personally, I don't want to comment because I didn't see the penalty, I was too far," Zothwane told SuperSport TV.
"But if it was a penalty, it's a penalty. But yeah, unfortunately, we conceded it where we were looking for a goal.
"But it's okay, we lost the match, and we have to focus on the next game."
