RELIEF!! Jaison Clifford equalises for Marumo Gallants as the earn a point against Sekhukhune United in a PSL match to ease their relegation fears

Jaison Clifford rescued a point for Marumo Gallants against Sekhukhune United in a Betway Premiership match this evening.

The Marumo Gallants winger netted the equaliser at the death to deny Paulus Masehe his maiden victory for Babina Noko at New Peter Mokaba Stadium.

This goal was a relief for Bahlane Ba Ntwa as they eased off their relegation woes with the fight for survival continuing in earnest.

Marumo Gallants moved from the 15th spot to the 14th one with 21 points which is one more than the resurgent Magesi FC, who won 5-2 against Durban City last week.

The fight for survival is on while Sekhukhune look set to wrestle AmaZulu for a fourth spot finish on the Betway Premiership standings.

Tshepo Mokoena’s opener looked set to set them up for a win at home as he controlled a loose ball inside the box to round off Marumo Gallants goalkeeper Kagiso Mlambo for a simple finish.

But the visitors were persistent in their pursuit for the goal which they duly got at the death.
