Real Madrid midfielder Dani Ceballos is set to miss around seven weeks after suffering a soleus muscle tear. Medical examinations confirmed the rupture, ruling the midfielder out of action for at least a month and a half.
Ceballos came on in the 82nd minute during the match against Osasuna (1-2). Late in the game, he made an error that led to the winning goal for the Pamplona side, and reports indicate he was already experiencing pain in his leg at the time. Subsequent medical tests revealed an injury that will require an extended recovery period.
This season, Ceballos has made 22 appearances for Los Blancos across all competitions, but has yet to register a goal or assist.
