In the summer of 2023, PSG conducted an impressive transfer campaign, but not all new signings managed to meet expectations and secure a place in Luis Enrique's team. One such player is defensive midfielder Manuel Ugarte.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Uruguayan footballer might leave PSG in this summer transfer window. Manchester United and several other English clubs have shown interest in him, although no official offers have been made yet.
Clubs are waiting for the end of Uruguay's campaign in Copa America 2024 to get a clearer idea of Ugarte's price and his current form.
Ugarte joined PSG from Sporting Lisbon for €60 million. Last season, he played 25 matches in Ligue 1 for the Parisian club, starting in only 21 of them.
