The father of Spain winger Lamine Yamal will not attend the World Cup final against Argentina. Mounir Nasraoui admitted that due to health issues, he was forced to forgo the trip to the tournament and has watched all the World Cup matches from home, The Mirror reports.

According to Nasraoui, he suffers from epilepsy and has to take a large number of medications every day. Because strong emotions and stress could trigger a seizure, he decided not to risk his health or the safety of those around him.

I suffer from epilepsy. I have to take a lot of medication every day, and a seizure can happen at any moment. Before traveling, you have to think not only about yourself but also about your son and everyone around you. It's better to stay home and watch everything from here,

Let us recall that a month after Spain's victory at Euro 2024, Mounir Nasraoui was attacked in a parking lot and suffered stab wounds. Police later detained four suspects linked to the incident.
