The “Oranje” will now be led by a new head coach.
Details: Today it was announced that Ronald Koeman has left his position as head coach of the Netherlands national team. The decision was made after the team’s disappointing performance at the World Cup, where the “Oranje” bowed out as early as the round of 16.

In the match against Morocco, neither regular nor extra time produced a winner, and in the penalty shootout, the African side proved more accurate, sending the Netherlands home earlier than expected. This result was regarded as a major setback for one of Europe’s football powerhouses.
Immediately after the elimination, Koeman announced his departure from the post. Now, the Royal Dutch Football Association must quickly decide on a new head coach who will begin preparing the team for the next international cycle.
