Kylian Mbappé has decided not to extend his contract with PSG, and in the summer of 2024, he will transition to a new club.

The Parisians have embarked on a quest to seek new players to fill his void and forge a new project. As reported by journalist Fabrizio Romano, PSG's leadership has settled on Zaire-Emery and Xavi Simons as potential candidates. The French outfit aims for both footballers to epitomize their future endeavor. Zaire-Emery is set to ink a fresh contract with PSG, while negotiations with Simons are slated to commence next month.

It's worth recalling that on February 10, 2021, Simons made his debut for Paris Saint-Germain's first team in a French Cup match against Caen. On June 28, 2022, he moved to the Dutch club PSV, signing a five-year deal. On July 19, 2023, PSG activated the buy-back option for Simons from PSV, following which the player penned a four-year contract with the Parisian club. On the same day, Simons embarked on a season-long loan to the German club RB Leipzig.

Additionally, PSG's leadership exhibits keen interest in Barcelona midfielder Frenkie de Jong. The French champions are prepared to shell out 60 million euros for his transfer, the sum demanded by the Spanish club.
