The Iran national team has encountered yet another hurdle ahead of their World Cup clash against Belgium.
Details: The Iranian Football Federation has submitted an appeal to FIFA, complaining about restrictions that, in their view, are negatively impacting the team's preparations for this crucial fixture.

The Iranian side had planned to arrive in the host city for their match against Belgium two days before kickoff and remain there until the day after the final whistle. This schedule would have allowed for full training sessions and recovery activities. However, US authorities denied this request. Now, the team will only be able to arrive a day before the match and will be required to leave immediately after the game ends.
Officials in Tehran believe these conditions place additional strain on the squad and contradict the principle of equality among World Cup participants. The federation is therefore awaiting FIFA's response and hopes the decision will be reconsidered.
The Belgium vs Iran match will take place on June 21 at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood, CA.
