Oswin Appollis and Tshepang Moremi scores for Orlando Pirates as they beat Milford FC 2-0 in the PSL match

Oswin Appollis and Tshepang Moremi scored in each half as Orlando Pirates beat Betway Premiership newcomers Milford FC 2-0 at the Orlando Amstel Arena.

Pirates enter this PSL season as the defending Betway Premiership champions as they won the title last season.

Appollis scored from a superb free-kick in the first half while Moremi netted in the second stanza.

Expectation was that the Sea Robbers will fully dominate the Stallions in Soweto, but this was not the case entirely, as the team from Kwa-Zulu natal did exert themselves in a decent manner.

This, though, was not the kind of start Dr Xanti Pupuma, would have wished for under his reign as Milford FC coach.

But for Abdeslam Ouaddou, he is a happy man having to start the league with no goals conceded and goals scored.
