Orlando Pirates' Kamogelo Sebelebele on their draw against Kaizer Chiefs: Such a result feels like a loss to us given our aim to win the PSL title
Kamogelo Sebelebele sees Orlando Pirates’ 1-1 daw against Kaizer Chiefs as a loss.
The Pirates right-back said the point they earned in the Soweto derby dampened their spirits in the pursuit of the Betway Premiership.
Pirates are looking to derail Mamelodi Sundowns from winning their ninth trophy on the trot this season by clinching this campaign’s league title.
Abdeslam Ouaddou’s troops are atop of the standings with 59 points which is one more than Sundowns.
And against Chiefs on Sunday, it was Sebelebele who scored the equaliser after Amakhosi took the lead via a Pule Mmodi strike.
“Eish, today’s game did not go as we had expected or how we wanted it to be,” he told Orlando Pirates TV.
“The opponent Chiefs came to defend and they were bossing us, and unfortunately we didn’t get the result we wanted.
“A draw for us is a defeat cause we’re chasing for the league. But we’ll push until the end – last game of the league.”
