The French Professional Football League has officially announced the date and venue for the 2026 French Super Cup match.
Details: The showdown will take place on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at 19:00 Central European Time.
The match is being organized in partnership with the Kuwait Football Association. The battle for the trophy will feature:
- Paris Saint-Germain – Ligue 1 champions and French Cup holders;
- Marseille – Ligue 1 runners-up.
Since 2009, the French Super Cup has regularly been staged outside France. Last year, the tournament was held in Qatar, where PSG edged out Monaco 1-0. The Parisians are, in fact, the record holders for most French Super Cup victories.
Reminder: PSG is demanding €180 million from Mbappé, while Kylian has filed a counterclaim.
