The saga with Andriy Lunin's new contract with Real Madrid is taking new turns. After Thibaut Courtois returned to fitness, the Ukrainian goalkeeper again risks becoming his deputy.

According to Marca, Lunin has decided not to extend his contract with the Spanish club. Interestingly, earlier reports suggested he was ready to prolong his current deal.

Real Madrid's management understands that the 25-year-old goalkeeper intends to change teams after the Champions League final, in which he did not participate. Nevertheless, the Madrid club expresses a desire for Lunin not to leave before the expiration of his current contract, which runs until June 30, 2025.

Lunin played 32 matches for Real Madrid last season, conceding 35 goals and keeping 12 clean sheets. It was previously reported that several top clubs, including Manchester United, Bayern Munich, and others, are interested in Lunin.
