Nkosinathi Sibisi on Orlando Pirates ahead of the Soweto derby against Kaizer Chiefs: We have shown that we are capable of bouncing back as a team
Nkosinathi Sibisi reckons Orlando Pirates need to gain something this season given their ability to bounce back after setbacks.
Sibisi said his team has been let down in previous matches where they drew instead of winning but show improved display in their next game.
This is a character which they need to pay them back in form of the PSL trophy as tits the only trophy left Pirates are fighting for.
He also expects his team to deliver the goods at FNB Stadium this afternoon in a Betway Premiership match against rivals in Kaizer Chiefs.
“I think for us, just as in life, we suffer setbacks,” said Sibisi.
“I think you mentioned the draw we played against Siwelele and Richards Bay. But it’s how you move forward, how you pick yourselves up that’s important.
“And I think the boys showed the character to say after the game against Siwelele, we went against TS Galaxy, we were able to win that game, keep a clean sheet.
“We also suffered a setback against Richards Bay recently, but we also picked ourselves up again.
“So, that’s the kind of mentality and the attitude that the boys are showing, throughout the season. And I think with this kind of mentality, surely something has to gain.”
The match starts at 3pm.
