Manchester United has decided against dismissing their head coach, Erik ten Hag, opting instead to continue their collaboration with the Dutch tactician.

As reported by The Telegraph, the Red Devils are preparing a new contract for the Dutchman. Preliminary discussions between the parties have already taken place. However, the extent of the contract remains unknown at present. It is anticipated to span a duration of two years.

Ten Hag's existing agreement extends until the summer of 2025. Sir Jim Ratcliffe, the co-owner of United who effectively oversees the club, has determined his desire for Ten Hag to prolong his tenure with the team.

It is worth recalling that the club has chosen to extend its partnership with Erik ten Hag. Following an assessment of the team's performance at the end of the season, the new shareholders of Manchester United from INEOS have concluded that there is currently no need to seek a new head coach.

Before the word, this news caused some surprise not only among the world football community, but also among the players of the Red Devils.
