Europe’s top clubs now face a formidable new contender in the battle for one of Germany’s brightest young stars.

Details: According to insider Fabrizio Romano, Manchester City have joined the chase for 16-year-old Hertha midfielder Kennet Eichhorn. The teenage sensation, a true revelation in this season’s Bundesliga 2, has caught the attention of Pep Guardiola, making him one of the club’s primary transfer targets for the upcoming summer window.

At the moment, the German wunderkind is being pursued by several European giants. Alongside Manchester City, another unnamed Premier League club has entered the fray, as well as Bundesliga powerhouses led by Bayern Munich.

This season, the German youngster has made 16 appearances for the Berlin club, finding the net once. Transfermarkt currently values him at €20 million.
