Man United won't give staff tickets for the Europa League final but will offer food vouchers

Manchester United continues to pinch every penny as they look to optimize the club's financial situation. The latest example revolves around the UEFA Europa League final, where the Red Devils will face Tottenham on May 21.
According to CentreDevils, the club has refused to pay for staff trips to the match—a game that could see United return to the UEFA Champions League. Instead, employees have been offered the chance to visit a venue in Manchester and have received food vouchers.
It was previously reported that United is preparing another wave of layoffs, which will affect 200 more staff members on top of those who have already been let go.
At the moment, Manchester United sits fifteenth in the Premier League table. Winning the UEFA Europa League is the club's only chance to secure European football next season.
