Once-feared Manchester United are on course to finish the season in 16th place in the Premier League, with the Europa League final providing their only chance to book a spot in the Champions League. But Rúben Amorim doesn’t see this as redemption.

Details: The Manchester United head coach emphasized that while winning the Europa League would help the club end the season on a positive note, it would not be enough to salvage what has been a disastrous campaign.

Quote: "Maybe people will look at our team differently, because winning a European title is truly important. It would help us finish the season on a positive note. But nothing will change our season. The players know it, the staff know it, the fans know it—everyone knows it.

Winning a European trophy can give us a sense of momentum to build for the future, but that’s all it is. I don’t think we’re playing for anything bigger than lifting the trophy itself.

Manchester United can survive financially even without Champions League football. We have supporters all over the world, we’re a huge international brand. We need to focus on the project and do everything the right way," said Amorim.

Reminder: Earlier, Dailysports experts released information on where and when to watch the Europa League final between Tottenham and Manchester United.
