As it happens, Manchester City have not always treated their youngsters properly, letting them go to other clubs where they have shown their best. But, on one player, the Citizens have realised their mistake and intend to bring him back to the team. True, there is one but.
This player now represents a club far from friendly to Manchester City, namely Manchester United. We are talking about the Mancunians' winger Jaydon Sancho. The negotiations at the Etihad, according to teamTALK, will be ready after the sale of Jack Grealish.
But, the problem is Sancho's £250,000-a-week wages, which will put most potential buyers off. After all, apart from Manchester City, the winger has also been offered to three other clubs and so far, none of those four have made a decision on Sancho's purchase.
The most likely outcome in Manchester United's desperate attempts to sell the 24-year-old would be a second loan deal, and that would already include the right or obligation to buy.
