Mamelodi Sundowns Surprise Moriri on the PSL title race: I believe in our team in that they will go all the way for this Betway Premiership title
Surprise Moriri is confident Mamelodi Sundowns are headed for their ninth Betway Premiership title.
Sundowns are second on the PSL table with 57 points with a point and a game less than table-toppers Orlando Pirates.
Pirates have 58 points having played 25 matches.
Moriri, a Sundowns legend said Sundowns have what it takes to win the PSL trophy.
“I’ve got full trust in the boys, so far we have the upper-hand, I know we dropped points, but we still have a couple of games to go, we have the endurance, we know how to be able to go all the way, especially in the last couple of games,” Moriri said.
“I know it’s going to be very intense, teams who are fighting relegation, some for top eight, it won’t be easy, but I know with the experience our boys gained in CAF and the depth in the squad, I think we will be able to make sure we compete until the last game and hopefully we can lift this one also.”
Sundowns face Richards Bay tomorrow in a PSL encounter away from home in what will be a must win game for them.
The game starts at 5.30pm.
