Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Jayden Adams on their clash against MC Alger: We must go all out for a win but our preparation must be good
Jayden Adams says Mamelodi Sundowns’ success or failure to win against MC Alger on Saturday lies in how they prepare for the game.
“We must go all out, we need to win that one, but the preparations must be good,” Adams told his club website.
“We must recover and look forward to it."
Adams was he hero for the Brazilians in Lubumbashi when they drew 1-1 against ST Eloi Lupopo last Sunday in their Caf Confederation Cup tie.
Aubrey Modiba played in a corner which the former Stellenbosch FC midfielder comfortably headed in to earn a draw away from home.
“It was a very intensive game, first half, we kept the ball well but they played with four in the midfield and it confused us,” he said of the Lupopo game.
“As the game went on, the players and coaches gave us other game plan, and it worked.
“Second half came, we controlled the game and they got tired a bit as we had a lot of spaces. So, we profited from that.”
The MC Alger game is a do or die one for Adams and his team-mates.
