Mamelodi Sundowns chairman Thlopane Motsepe has admitted the loss to TS Galaxy left them in a sombre mood but also showed belief that his team can rise on weekend.
Thlopane said the team's Caf Champions League final is a moment they have been working on for the past decade, the last time they won the continental competition.
They will approach the match against ASFAR on Sunday at home having lost the grip on the domestic front with Orlando Pirates needing a win to win the Betway Premiership.
