Magesi Fc coach Allan Freese on their 2-0 loss to Kaizer Chiefs: It was our costly individual mistakes that saw us lose this game
Allan Freese has cited Magesi FC’s errors as the main reason for their loss to Kaizer Chiefs last night in a Betway Premiership match.
Freese’s Magesi remain rooted at the bottom of the PSL standings and the loss against Amakhosi at Moses Mabhida Stadium is likely to deepen their crisis further as this time of the season is about collecting points than losing them.
“I think in the first half we had good opportunities; we could’ve scored maybe a goal and take it from there. But individual mistakes it’s costing the team, individual mistakes not as a whole. Too many loose balls, not marking properly,” Freese told SuperSport TV.
The only way to get the root of the problem and try to work around it will be to head back to the training pitch and do a thorough introspection to get everyone in the team going again.
“I thought the first half we did really well, second half - I thought when we made the changes, maybe we fell too pieces a little bit, I don’t know but too many mistakes cost us the game," he added.
“Well, go back to training, check the game-plan, was it right not right, was the players I started with the right ones or not the right ones. But it’s a lot of things to work around, but I got fix the individual mistakes so that the whole team can play."
